Hotel Location

When planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, the Railway makes it easy with packages that combine train travel and hotel accommodations. Located adjacent to the train station, the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is the most convenient location for you to embark on your incredible journey!

Location

The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is located in Williams, Arizona, just off Interstate 40, or about 30 miles west of Flagstaff. Williams is a great place to stay if you want to venture out and explore the region. And whether you want to visit the red rocks of Sedona, the Native American ruins to the northeast, the ski resort on the San Francisco Peaks, or even the Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is in the middle of it all.

From Southern California
Simply take I-40 East from Needles until you get to Williams. The drive is a little over 6 hours from the Los Angeles area. Then, combine your great road trip with a great train trip!

From Phoenix
Phoenix is the closest major city to Williams. To venture north to the other Arizona—the one in the pines!—just head north on I-17. Go to Flagstaff and hop on the I-40 West for another 32 miles to Williams, Exit 163. For added fun, we suggest taking the Highway 279 Exit and Highway 89-A to go through Sedona. Take the scenic red rock drive and get the most out of your trip to northern Arizona.
