Savor the Rail Experience

The Fred Harvey® Restaurant is the perfect start—or end—to your Grand Canyon journey. Located across from the hotel and adjacent to the depot, the 350-seat restaurant serves buffet-style breakfast and dinner for Grand Canyon Railway passengers and patrons. Savor the rail atmosphere as a model replica of the train circles the room in the restaurant. A full gift shop with Grand Canyon Railway souvenirs is also in the restaurant.

At Grand Canyon Railway, we’re proud to carry on the legacy of the Santa Fe Railroad and its partner, The Fred Harvey Company. Beginning in 1876, Fred Harvey introduced a new standard of service and quality with his “Harvey Houses” along Santa Fe Railroad routes throughout the West, including the world-famous El Tovar Hotel at Grand Canyon’s South Rim and the Frey Marcos Hotel here in our town of Williams.

Breakfast

Daily: 6:30 – 10:00 am (6:30am – 10:30am the mornings after Polar Express)

You’ll find traditional fare like farm fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, crispy bacon and sausage. You’ll also find a selection of fresh fruits, yogurt, homemade granola, a variety of cold cereals, and hearty steel-cut oatmeal.

Dinner

Daily: 4:00 – 9:00pm (3:30pm – 9:30pm during Polar Express)

Whether you’ve returned from your Grand Canyon adventure, or just arrived after a long day on the road – we hope you brought your appetite! Each night our entrées include selections inspired by recipes used by classic American railroads from the golden age of rail travel! During our dinner service, you can also order fine wine and bottled beer from your table. We feature wine from various Arizona and California wineries, as well as locally-brewed beers in addition to your favorite brews.
